    Haytham Chamass Director of the festival

    Haytham Chamass is a Communication Arts Graduate of the Lebanese American University in Beirut (1997).
    Human rights activist, documentary filmmaker and producer, film instructor at two universities in Beirut.
    He filmed many documentaries related to human rights and public awareness issues.
    He is also the founder of Factory 961 / Art Factory association which holds the Karama Beirut Human Rights Film Festival.

    NAJWA KONDAKJI Project Coordinator

    Graduated from Russian Academy of Theater Arts (RATI­ GITIS), Moscow in Fine Arts specializing in Directing for Drama, Theater and Film.
    Worked as an actress, drama teacher and director in several community centers and educational institutions over Jordan, Syria, and Lebanon, and in the present time, working as an instructor in Communication Arts Department, The School of Arts and Sciences, Lebanese International University.

    NAJIB NSEIR Content Coordinator

    A well-known Syrian scenarist wrote many television drama series for which won many awards.
    He also worked as a journalist, television and film critic in local and regional newspapers and magazines, wrote for theater.
    He was the chief editor of “Fekr” magazine from 2009 to 2014.
    He wrote, participated with Mazen Bilal, two books about the TV-Drama.

    CALAUDE YOUNAN Coordinator

    She is a Women’s Rights activist and production specialist with a B.A in Communication Arts from the American University of Science and Technology.
    She is a video trainer in Action for hope and in Think Joekido’s.
    She has since been active in both the private and public sector regarding initiatives that aid the women of the local community to develop and become more active members of the society.

    DIMA ALANSARI Film Maker

    She’s a filmmaker, theatre artist and university teacher with a BA from the Lebanese American University in Radio/TV/Film & Theatre, and a Diploma from the New York Film Academy – London. Dima has worked in several countries with over +14 years of experience in the TV & Film production industry. She aims to continue in her lifelong journey of ethical advocacy, developing her art and skills towards community development, youth empowerment and peace building.
